BridgeGate concludes successful search for OpTier. Colin Rowland appointed Vice President Sales EMEA

Business transaction management (BTM) software solution provider OpTier today announced that Colin Rowland, a UK-based technology executive, has been named senior vice president of sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Rowland will report to Ori Mazin, OpTier's vice chairman of the board and head of worldwide sales.
Rowland has been a technology leader for more than 18 years and has held senior management positions at several industry-leading organizations.
Prior to joining OpTier, Rowland was senior vice president of EMEA operations for provisioning, configuration and management firm Opsware. During his tenure, Opsware was acquired by Hewlett Packard for approximately US$1.6 billion.
He had also held sales leadership positions in many other organizations.
"Colin has an impressive track record of building out worldwide organizations and turning emerging growth companies into category and industry leaders," said Mazin. "Adding Colin to the team will help build on our traction beyond the UK and will further expedite our growth in EMEA."
