BridgeGate LLC completes the placement of Andrew Tinseth as AVP, Internal Audit for Corinthian Colleges.

Irvine, CA - BridgeGate LLC, one of the leading executive search firms in the US, announces the appointment of Andrew Tinseth as the AVP of Internal Audit at Corinthian Colleges. Mr. Tinseth will be in charge of providing full strategic and management direction for all services and activities in the company's Internal Audit department.
Tinseth is directly responsible and reports to the Audit Committee of the Corporation's Board of Directors in its oversight role. In this role, he is responsible for assessing financial, operational and information technology control risks throughout the organization. Working closely with the Corinthian Colleges management team, he provides insightful assessments of the effectiveness of controls over the critical areas of financial reporting, information security and asset protection. He also is leading the effort to ensure CCI's compliance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act dealing with Management's Assessment of Internal Controls.
"Andrew has done an excellent job of establishing world class audit programs in the past and is the right person to lead CCI's Internal Audit Department in meeting the new challenges posed by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, as well as supporting the Audit Committee in their oversight of the Corporation," noted BridgeGate Director Josh Goodman who led this search.
Before joining Corinthian, Mr. Tinseth was Senior Audit Manager and Vice President in the Independent Risk Management Group of Union Bank of California where he was responsible for corporate-wide business risk assessment, control documentation, and testing for the Bank's IT function. Prior to that, Mr. Tinseth served as a Manager at Ernst & Young in its Security & Technology Solutions group and Director of Security Assessment Services at ZONEOFTRUST. Mr. Tinseth is a CPA in the state of California and received his MBA from the University of Southern California.
