Irvine, California - BridgeGate LLC today announced the successful placement of Dan Morefield as the new Chief Operating Officer of Experian Consumer Direct, one of the leading provides of consumer credit monitoring and identity theft protection services and operator of the site www.consumerinfo.com.

Search Marketing formerly knows as Overture where he led the growth of the IT organization from 70 to 400 globally distributed professionals and built operating infrastructure supporitng revenues in excess of $2 billion annually. Prior to joining Yahoo!/Overture, Dan held the Senior Vice President Operations role at PayMyBills.com, where he was responsible for the areas of Client Services, Payment Operations, Presentment Operations and managing the post merger integration with acquirer PayTrust. Earlier in his career Dan held a variety of Executive Operations roles in financial services firms including First Vice President, Director of Business Banking & Direct Banking at Home Savings of America.
