Pamela Kline Smith appointed as vice president of marketing for LiveOps

LiveOps, the leader in distributed contact centers, has appointed Pamela Kline Smith as vice president of marketing. Smith will draw on 22 years of experience launching new products, building revenue and developing marketing initiatives for more than 100 companies, including several Fortune 50 technology providers. She will report to CEO Bill Trenchard and help LiveOps market its groundbreaking Web technology-based solution that runs and manages customer contact centers on demand.
“LiveOps’ unique business model redefines traditional concepts of contact centers and workflow management by matching the right work to the right people regardless of location,” explained Smith. “Companies that leverage the flexibility and scalability in LiveOps’ solutions will ultimately improve their customer service offerings and deliver a superior experience to their clientele.”
Smith joins LiveOps from Metreo, a pricing software provider, where she served as vice president of marketing. Smith developed new go-to-market strategies and launched major analytics and workflow products. Before joining Metreo, Smith’s experience included executive roles at Arcot Systems, The McKenna Group, Prognostics and Visa. During her 10 years at The McKenna Group, Smith led teams responsible for defining e-business for IBM and creating the first online travel solutions for United, US Airways and British Airways. At Harvard, Smith received her bachelor’s degree in French (magna cum laude) and her master’s degree in business administration.
