Seasoned Software Industry Executive Strengthens Global Sales Force During New Era of Growth

PALO ALTO, Calif. /PRNewswire/ -- Tacit Software, Inc., the

announced that Bruce Duchene has joined the company as Vice President of
Global Field Operations. Mr. Duchene brings over 24 years of proven leadership
in the enterprise software market to his position at Tacit. In this new role,
Mr. Duchene will be responsible for building and growing Tacit's presence in
the collaboration marketplace as well as overseeing the delivery of customer
value.

Previously, Mr. Duchene held executive sales positions with Determine Software, Octave Software and Vignette Corporation. At Vignette, Mr. Duchene served as Vice President of Sales and was responsible for developing business operations in North America and Latin America. During his 3-year tenure at Vignette, the company became the fastest growing enterprise software company in history with annual revenue growth from $3 million to over $500 million. Mr. Duchene also held senior sales positions at Scopus Technology, Infinium and Oracle Corporation.
