Andrew Duncan joined Scalent's executive team as Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Accounts

Palo Alto – Scalent systems, a leader in utility computing software infrastructure, announced today that Andrew Duncan has joined its executive team as Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Accounts. Andrew brings with him a wealth of experience in both hardware and software companies.
Before joining Scalent, Andrew was VP, Sales and Business Development for Cassatt Corporation. Andrew also served as VP, Field Operations and Business Development for Egenera, Inc, a Massachusetts-based blade-server company, where he built the company’s global field operations unit for sales, pre-sales engineering, service and support, and professional services.
Prior to joining Egenera, Andrew worked for EMC Corporation, where he co-founded an independent operating unit to develop business solutions for content management. In this capacity, he led the global sales team to secure the implementation of some of the world’s most significant content management projects. Andrew was also a co-founder of Jadoo Corporation, the leading provider of camera fuel-cell batteries. Jadoo’s products received special recognition from President Bush in February, 2003.
